Flowerhorn stress help

So, had the fish only under a week, uncycled 10 gallon on the floor, and it is heated with a red light above the tank right? Get the fish into a suitable setup asap, and then give it a few weeks to recover. I bet it will come around.
I would also just get a 75 gallon, that's really the bare minimum for a flowerhorn unless it is a shortbody. In my opinion at least.

Thread about it was from last week lol. But anyway, the fish has gone through a whole lot in the last week, and there are a lot of factors about it's current setup that would lead to it being scared. The floor contributes (fish don't like being so low IME) , tank is very small, only fish in the tank and limited décor. And the biggest factor is probably that the tank isn't cycled, the fish might be feeling ammonia burn, etc. Have you tested the water?

No dont have test kit wen I go to pet store I will just did a 50% water change The tank has been cycled for months

He acts not stressed now just hasnt chased my finger yet but he acts normal now

A 75 would be better but the 65 is better than the 60 imo. I dont understand how you can get either of those tanks and not the 75. Theyre all about the same price new or used and they all take up about the same amount of space. I almost just want to give you my spare 75 gallon lol.

Most important thing is to set up this prospective tank asap. A ten gallon is not enough room for any 3" cichlid to feed and behave naturally.

Is my fader fh fading or is it stressed or something else, i am confused, please help.
