Please help peacock bass sick??

Hey guys Ive had my peacock for 6 months he was all good until a couple day ago, he just sits at the bottom of the tank and doesn't move he eats still but after he goes sits at the same spot any info would be much appreciated

My peacock is hovering at the bottom he eats like a power house though and chases his tank mate around the tank. But he usually hangs out mid tank.. He also will loose his black stripes and then they come back again.. Anyone know what is happening??

Maybe stress from tank mates as it’s trying to dominate or get dominated. Could water quality issues.

He or she is irritated . bars come and go with mood. Could be tank mates , size of tank, water ?

Hey guys thanks for all your post and advice but his doing good now just patients
