Hi everyone. I want to change my gravel in my 125. I found some on Chewy.com I like but I don't know how many lbs. I need to just barely cover the bottom. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

Toni is in the same tank a 125long 6x18x20
In this pic you can see the depth of the gravel. This is 140lbs, or seven 20lb bags.
Now sand will not be so deep due to smaller grains will fill in more unlike gravel and it's irregular shapes.
it's about 2in deep, maybe 2.5

Hi Sean. How are you? I don't like a lot of gravel in my tanks. I just want enough to cover the bottom. Big Boy is going to have a massive fit with me changing his gravel!!! OMG!!! Should be fun!!!! LOL!!!
Hope that's right, only guesstimating , as I never weighed my bags of gravel, you can also go collecting for larger rocks for your tank, in nature you often find different sizes
