New Species Of Cichla?

Um wouldn't it be a subspecies, not a species? Far as I know there's only one species of p.b, but at least 26 subspecies
Kind of looks like a cross between a intermedia and Azul. Sweet looking cichla
Nice find mike! They're lucky to be over there catching these species that we can only dream of aquiring for the time being! Cichla jarinna have been around for a while just haven't been imported yet as well as pleiozona,fogo,nigromaculata,vazzoleri, and the thyrorus.
Nigromaculata’s, pleiozona have been available in the US and fogos have been imported but just not here.
pleiozona have been imported but by accident with monos. Nigromaculata I've yet to see one in the US. I guess what I meant to say is that they haven't been purposely imported to the us as in someone's list saying cichla pleiozona or nigromaculata. I've seen fogo but only in Rodrigo sgambattis tank who lives in SA. The one on here speculated as a fogo at juvie stage was never confirmed.
Yes some pleiozona are by accident but not all and for nigromac’s they have been. River wonders brought them in back in the day and I think shark aquarium to. As for fogo Samurai H also owned these and he’s in japan.
gotcha nvr knew they came in, you know anyone with them? would love to see pics! I believe hes the one I saw with the juvie speculated fogo but never reposted it as it got bigger or he killed them or something. Although I wouldn't be surprised as they get everything over there in asia.
