My little biologist

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It definitely was, the main focus was actually nothbranchius but we had extra time.

When I actually get to university I'll probably get downgraded, no more working with a PhD student :(

Sounds like your kids on a decent path, I started reading at a later date (harder to learn to read when your over 80 percent deaf), most of the teachers were horrible and basically left me behind, however one good teacher tutored me and within months I went from not being able to read a picture book to reading chapter books with ease and quickly excelled beyond my "peers"

After a while I started teaching my younger cousins (who all had bad living enviorments and pretty sucky parents), not just teaching but leading by example (not drinking or doing drugs, morally good behavior etc )
The oldest now has a full college scholarship

I wish there was a "love" button for that statement. You have alot to be proud of. Thank you for all you've done.
Your welcome! That means a lot to me!

I think it's important to teach anyone willing to learn, it got to the point that grandparents would bring there grandchildren over, to teach them about fishing (and I often threw other things in there, I noticed the kids who got into fishing and catching things were less likely to go astray).

You're my new hero.

Mad because i made her do most of the work in breaking down her tank. I handed her a bucket and a hose and told her I'd "be back in 30min. Don't get the carpet wet". I'm not totally a jerk. Ive setting up a quarentine to treat her fish. She's gonna lose her inverts tho.

Just set the inverts in a container with a bubbler

Lose them because they'll die or lose them as a punishment?

I killed them. The risk of reintroducing the leeches to the next setup isnt worth the aggravation. Besides i have snails and shirmp in abundance that havent been exposed. No major loss. I wasnt punishing her tho. I don't do work for her that she can do for herself. She has to wash her own dishes, fold and put away her own laundry, clean her own tank, ect. She was mad more because I took away a book she was using to procrastinate with. "I'm gonna start after this next chapter..." Six chapters later I took the book lol.
