Overdue...update... still in a 650g and not gettin any smaller . One of these days ill have enough motivation to finish a build for him.

Thanks! hes 50"+...had him since 2012... his bottom lip is worn down from window licking begging for food. Hes been doing that since he was 6-7".

you can see in this pic him pressing his face against the glass. if im in the room... hes up on the glass.

Despite being in small quarters hes still steadily packing on weight/girth. I expect him to reach 6'+ no problem once hes in his final tank with me. the footprint is 14'x8'.

My final footprint at 14'x8'x4' should suffice just fine for him in my opinion even if hes 8'. He's always been kept alone and is very chill/calm. Despite his size he's a big baby and pretty lazy if im not in the room.

yeah...i got an update for ya... i wish i were dead ... but legends never die... long story short i got 2 sick with it and "the mann" had a problem with me and my good friend the wels. in this new age of butt hurt peta pushers and nay sayers we are all subject to predjudice for the love of rare monsterous fish sp...... hide ur loved ones...the end is nigh ladies and germs... narcs are everywhere on the forums and social media. they may even pretend to be ur friend....trust no1... do what u love in the shadows and dont ever let the dream die.


and to answer ur original question... ull have to ask ODNR how my fish is doing...
