Hey Go_redfish Go_redfish flintknapping isn't that hard, just find a flintknapper to teach you and it become easy, requires practice, you can use a piece of felt or leather to protect your fingers.

You can turn flint, obsidian, bone, and even chunks of colored glass into beautiful arrowheads or spearheads or even chisel random art pieces, I recommend you check out some of them online.

Also wanting to forge swords and such

I think I would like to get into that, might look it up. I already love archery...

Why bother when archery when playing with fire is so much cheaper and more fun? :D

Because flaming arrows man! You can also add whistles to your arrows so your arrow screams across the battlefield.....
I always thought a bronze greatbow would be cool.....
How would that work? Bronze arms and steel or wood springs?

It would be recurve, they used to be a very desirable weapon in ancient times due to their durability and range
Would be heavilly inferior to steel or fiberglass, but probably better than wood just because it can be made stronger easier.1

Steel might be better, fiberglass definitely isn't tho, as fiberglass gets brittle with time and exposure
