All the details and the stories are in the corresponding threads. I don't want to repeat them here. The GSC fed, at times well, at times poor, in the last month or two, probably nothing at all, just withering away.

This thread is just a pinnacle, a depository of photos and the evidence of the final sizes.

All the deaths (and lives) have been traced, described, and the vast majority are explainable and have been explained in the corresponding threads in the corresponding sections.

I aim to maintain a single thread for each fish species that I keep, so my info is easy to find all in one place.




See above. It really varies - tank mate problems, disease, wrong med dosage, insufficient DO, wrong or unstable water parameters (pH, temp), and some indeed are unexplained. One constant is my perpetual stupidity and my being a fish hoarder, not fish keeper.

Wow. Such a heavy thread. I almost choked back a tear or two when I saw the giant tsn’s and The tig. What is the fish in the top pictures here? It looks so happy even post mortem
