New to arowana

We have it in quarantine, it's about 6". In 3 days it's eaten only one peice of krill. Do I pellet train it like pikes? It's gonna eventually be in the 220 with other very hungry fish. Is that when they usually start eating? This is a silver arowana correct?

Yes a juvenile Silver Arowana. Hikari floating food sticks will be another good food to offer. Floating pellet as well maybe taken.

It won't take em, probably still stressed. I'm anxious to get her out of quarantine. BTW, how do you tell sex on these guys, I'm a large cichlid and Pike guy.

Best food is insects, this helps make dropeye less likely.

You can get freeze dried crickets,mealworms etc very easily
