well that was quick! Yes some thoricthys and another species
I thought i mightve seen you post about and that tank looked strangely thorichthys-sized.
Nice tank btw. Picked it up for a song?

Haha, yup I want to let the tank get nice and stable before adding the cichlids. And yeah I am thinking pasionis. Dan's new "blue flash" aureus or whatever he calls them tempted me, but I think I like the slope forehead look of the pasionis......a few weeks really......
I went and spilled the beans on what I plan to get. Now you are baiting in then making us wait.....maybe.....
It's pasionis right.....
Great guesses, but nopeI'm thinking a smaller type like Rainbows or an Amatitlania? Maybe nanoluteas?

Yup good sized tank for them, the other fish I want will probably need an upgrade eventually, but are slow growers and will be tiny little guys when I get them. I got the tank for about 200$ shipped when Walmart was having some blowout sale on them.
Thanks stanz, I think you will like the fish choice! Your pics are part of what inspired me to get some thoricthys. I have had individuals before but never did a group of them.Be interesting to see this tank stocked, I love thorichthys tanks so will be keeping a look out to see the tank complete.
Hope the move went well.
Yeah I actually like these little Petco swordtails a lot. I wanted some more natural looking ones... no dice, but these orange ones do the trick.cute little fellas
