Replacing air stones for Oxygen

My big 12in Midas keeps destroying my air stones and tubing so i want to replace them with a powerhead for better oxygen what is a good one for a 125 gallon tank.

I was thinking about this one.

Yes that power head will provide surface agitation as well. Just hang on the frame of the aquarium or utilize the suction cup.

I'm actually gonna get the 70 i only need it for the surface agitation to create oxygen as i run 2 FX6 on the tank is there anything else i should do or know or another type of way of creating oxygen.

The range of powerheads available nowadays is mind blowing, with some prices to match. You can wirelessly sync multiple powerheads together to form waves and different flow patterns, great for reefers. But all you need is a basic one. Aimed at the surface it will do just as good a job, if not better, than an air stone. Just attach it to the glass with the suction cup/magnet and pivot the head toward the surface. Job done.

They're also great for preventing dead spots and if aimed in the right places they will help push debris in the water column to your outlet which helps to keep your water looking clean. Plus your fish will benefit from a bit of water movement.

I have a couple big powerheads from amazon. I think i payed like 13$ a piece for them, and they push soo much water that if turned up all the way in a 4' tank it will push the water over the other side of the tank. Ill see if i can find the brand name. Best bang for your buck

Trickle filters add oxygen to the water while canister filters remove it.

Were you planning on using the Venturi if you get a powerhead?

The powerhead in your pic also has a venturi as part.
The venturi (beside the pumping agitation from water moving at the surface) acts in a similar manner to an airstone, drawing in air from the surface and dispersing it .

The stronger the pumping action, the more venturi pulls in, and pushes out bubbles.
