Almost look more like loiselle than Freddy's imo...

There were only ever two pairs of P. "La Ceiba" in the hobby - one from Ken Davis and one from Rusty Wessel (collected in 2005, 2006 if I recall). Anyone know which pair COTA's came from?

I brought fry back from that trip as well. Looking at the pictures that were posted, It doesn't look like the LaCieba that we brought back. That dark coloration across the top doesn't jive.Loiselli-Rusty-29.jpg

Aquamojo Aquamojo any idea what this could be in that case? I'm wondering whether the black fins is to do with the fact she's in a bare black back & bottom tank... This isn't the best example picture but her fins will go quite yellow similar to that of your pictures depending on mood 41621952_399112763958296_359294574318845952_n.jpg

(Don't mind the male he's pissed off I've been chasing him with a net for the last 10mins lol)

This is my male. He is also very dark most of the time. This is one of his lightest photos i guess. Im even thinking about selling him because he is too dark most of the time.

Nice looking fish. Was that sold as LaCieba as well?

No need for dividers over night any more! They seem to have sussed eachother out, such a shame I'm going to have to sell them soon as moving... Hopefully they spawn so at least I can say they are a proven pair.42487064_268846390402035_262881526415360000_n.jpg

What does “sussed eachother out“ mean? And why is it a shame? Be careful. My experience they will be much more agro really quick without warning. Especially a newly formed pair. Inexperienced fish. You don’t need a divider but make sure she has an escape plan. Good luck.

Sussed is a British term, you could replace it in that sentence for "worked".
Lack of punctuation, it's a shame he has to sell them.
Oliver is planning some traveling, he has asked me to baby sit the la cieba but I have too many tanks already unfortunately.
