A little update on my pike charcin ...he’s gone..
I can’t find it anywhere is it posible that the same size jag or the Oscar could have been the culprits?

Yeah black sharks can be straight up evil

how big are the fish (pike, oscar, and others), they might have eaten him or the pike could just be hiding or have jumped out of the tank

The ones that they swim at the surface of the water are just the jaguar and the oscar (4 inches top both of them)...

Mate is like constantly sucking on that poor fish...I thought the bichirs supposed to be vicious but mine is a bloody twat.

bichirs are somewhat predatory , but some of the labels are practically rabid

Got home home from work the bichir was laying on his back hard as a rock but still breathing...I put it a big net added some stress coat, hope he’s gonna be a bit better tomorrow..

I had a bichir, grew it out for a friend, got it at 2 inches and raised it to 8 inches, thing was a monster, he'd eat pinky mice, shrimp, worms, prawn, crayfish, feeder fish, and just about anything else he could get in his mouth. I'm thinking of possibly getting 1 for my 29, still not sure
