Very nice looking pair. Will she clear a spot for the eggs? I've seen members using flat ceramic.

thanks tlindsey I gotta throw some rocks in there for her to lay on. Crossing my fingers they’ve never been bred in captivity before, they were from wes batch grew 11” in 8 months were 4in in February and have a 450g to themselves along with 6 Heros liberifer on a drip system

That’s a huge growth spurt. So they are 15” now or they grew to 11” from 4”. What are you feeding them?

each species varies not much info on Pinima breeding,monos mature the fastest at 12”

the male is 15” female 12.5-13” they’ve been fed a plethora of things from shrimp and tilapia to golden shiners from Anderson minnows.
