Hello,
I have a 125g (72"L x 22"H x 18"W) tank that I'm trying to set up spray bar for, and my main goal is to get the ultimate amount of circulation. I have set up my FX5 output on one end of the tank with a vertical and horizontal spray bar. The horizontal piece of PVC is roughly 13" long and the vertical is roughly 17" long.
What hole configuration would give me the best circulation across the entire tank? Currently I've drilled 1/4" holes, 2" appart along the length of each piece of PVC. My problem is that there is very little movement on the plants at the other end of the tank.
The fish which occupy the tank need to work against the current, to fit with their regular SA environment. I also need to provide enough current and surface agitation to give them the oxygen they require, which is why I'm trying to do the two directional spray bar.
I've never done a DIY spray bar before, which is why I've came here for help.
Any advice is appreciated, and any pics are even more appreciated!
