  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow! Those are some of the nicest setups I've seen.

Can you go into detail on the Mexico bio? What stocking do you have?
Certainly.
The tank has a footprint of 7x2x2.
The stock was,
Thorichthys helleri
Thorichthys meeki
Veija melanura
Rheoheros lentiginosus
Xiphophorus helleri

Very nice. My wife loves firemouths. I think a group of those and some swordtails would make a nice show piece. I think I can find some manzita to create roots. Thanks for the inspiration.

I might finally be able to have a tank upstairs.

I'm interested in the follow up.

Thanks,
I'm a big fan of firemouths too and swordtails make perfect tank mates.
Good luck with the tank upstairs.

Wow! The 3rd one down kinda reminds me of a wild Betta.
I have a newfound respect for live-bearers seeing these. I am so used to seeing farm-raised live-bearers who are dull and uninteresting looking. But, these are spectacular.

Thanks,
There are some beautiful live bearers out there, xiphophorus montazumi (spelling may be off) are gorgeous swords if you can find them.
The ones pictures above are rio otapa swordtails.
