Feeding Frozen foods to fish

Hi guys!

I am feeding my bichirs, ropefish and knifefish frozen mussels, bloodworms and variety of dried foods.

What other frozen foods can I feed? Not salmon and sardines I think.

Can they eat these cooked prawns apparently cooked in boiling water. Maybe to preserve it.

Not sure if my mussels are cooked or raw?

You lose nutritional value with cooked shrimp. Better to get frozen peeled shrimp.

Many frozen fish are good, the following are good to feed to your fish:
iollytail
Wild caught frozen mosquitofish
Tilapia
Most cichlids
Killifish
Guppies
The ocassional mackerel is acceptable

Is hake and calamari rings good?

I feed mine frozen krill. I just put a chunk of it in a strainer and run warm water over it to thaw it quickly and give it to them. They love it. Usually do that once or twice per week as a treat.
