To be fair though, the ATF in the first pic has assuredly been dead a long time and pretty much rotten at the time the croc nailed it.

How can you tell? I can not see this.

I've seen enough dead fish I guess. The washed colors, the haziness of the slime all over the fish, the mushiness of the tissue, the absence of the rear end, etc. But really just looking at the head is enough for me.
