I've just lost 1 of my 3 dojo loaches, the other one is at deaths door and the other one appears to be fine just like everything else in my tank, I seriously have no idea what happened, but losing the fish with the most personality in my tank is going to be very hard to move on from, they were doing just fine this morning and this afternoon 1 of them was dead and the other one was about to die, I did a 30% water change to try to save everything else and so far it's working fine, but my tank and even life for that matter won't be the same ever again

What size tank and what were the parameters?

What is the fish stock in your tank?
Maybe an aggressive fish finally decided to attack?
Any bite marks or damage to the fish?

no they are unharmed, a few small red spots on the one but doesn't look like any open wound and the others are unharmed, the only other fish I have are kuhli loaches, some tetras, a few smaller plecos (green phantom and gold nugget), a betta, some cherry barbs, peacock gudgeons and a red tail shark

do you have any pictures of the dead loach? It might identify the cause of death, so you could fix it in the future

Very sad to hear. Sorry bud :(

I love dojo loaches so I know that it must hurt. I have discovered that warmer water shortens their lives and I would be concerned about the red tail shark possibly. How long have you had this particular group together?
