I have 2 plecos (green phantom and gold nugget) and was wondering if it would be a good idea or not to put frozen blood worms and brine shrimp into the Repashy Morning Wood so the plecos get some extra nutrition in their diet. My main concern is that the frozen food will lose it's nutrition or spoil if held for a long time period in a refrigerator, what do you guys think?

If you defrost bloodworms in the fridge, you will notice once it is fully defrosted in the fridge that it turns dark brown in less than 12 hours sitting in the fridge. Putting it into gel food won't make it last longer since it's not really cooking it (putting it in after 10 seconds of adding the boiled water). If it does cook it because you put it in with the boiled water, then you've lost some nutritional value.

Just mix morning wood with other gel food like bottom scratcher. It's much easier.

Ok thanks, I was just wondering because I know plecos do like some meat in their diet, I meant add the bloodworms into the mix once it's cooled down to just above room temperature, but I'll try getting some bottom scratcher or meat pie for them
