Hello I've got a female Texas about 4" I had to put in my 20 gallon after she almost killed my Oscar in my 75. I'm setting up a 55 for her now but not sure if I should put her in or find her a new home. If I do would it be better for her to be alone or with some female cons. She isn't very aggressive it was just breeding behavior with my O. Thank you all in advance for your help.

The 55 gallon will be fine. She may go after the convicts also.

Thank you, I was hoping I'd hate to lose her. How many cons would you do? I've got about 8, from a breeding for feeders experiment gone wrong, but I'm thinking 2 or 3.

The 75 is too small for an oscar, you'd be better off buying a 125 or larger for the oscar, and putting the female "Texas" in the 75.
But even if you keep the Texas in a 75, the tank will probably be too small for any other cichlids, or fish

Personally, I think a female would be fine in a 55. Whether she allows convicts with her, is up to her. Pretty good chance she's attack them. But who knows.
