Ever have a monster tank blow up ?

How's the warranty and/or insurance on that tank?

How long was this tank up and running ?
 
I'd say that there is a good chance that the styrofoam under the tank has weakened the seams. Plywood should be used, not styrofoam. Foam distorts with time, making the tank unlevel, and shifting the weight onto the seams, eventually causing them to fail. Foam should only be used under rimless glass tanks, not acrylic tanks or glass tanks with rims. How long has that piece of foam been under the tank?
