New L14 and L253 plecos

Been a while since ive kept plecos but lately ive been feeling the itch. A buddy of mine gave me these two for next to nothing. Ive always wanted a goldie and never really paid too much attention to L253's but wow real good looking fish. They look almost identical, im looking forward to studying the differences once they settle in. Gladley they ate some tilapia right away.

No but close lol. So i got if from rapps as as a rhyacoglanis paranensis but the cat gurus think its a p.bufonius which is great because ive been after one for yrs. Heres the thread on him. Cool little guy sort of slow growing but worth it.

Nice! Man, I got to get a sunshine.

Man i havent been into plecos for a few yrs but am i wrong in thinking the prices went up...like allot. I saw sunshine's listed at wetspot for like 125 and freshwater exotics has them too. I always liked them too

Looks like it’s adjusting. What are u feeding? Yea kind of been thinking about getting a few. Like the blue phantom, mango and few others.

I had a green phantom. The phantoms are nice but maybe look into the 172a. I really like them and im pretty sure they are carnivorous might mix better with your current crew of beasts. Everyone seems to have them now.
