where ever you bought the del i hope they didnt charge you more, they gave you a wrong info, split tail its not a genetic mutation its happens to every poly, they get it from hitting a decor or some fish bullies them its a common thing.I have a Jack D that gives out genetic mutations every so often to his tank mates.
Lol no, that was my idea I swear I read somewhere that some split tails can be a rere genetic mutation, like long fin, short body, color variation ect. Either way I fell in love with the little noodle, he even ate a red wiggler today!
