So this is the marble pup. Such a cute little thing about the size of my palm. Seems to be quite active and responsive to us. Really seemed to take an interest in us. The only one that kept coming to the front to see us, out of the pups.

This is big mamma, who is also against the glass in previous photos. The tank is 21” high to give perspective of how big she is. So disc is roughly 2’
I would like to bring home by the weekend. I still have to cover my heater and decide if I will chance some of my current stock. I think I may need to take my ornate bichir to a friends house. He can be a bit nippy, but I may try my luck with the botias and pleco... will just have to watch them closely.
Love that book! Agreed it’s too short though. You should snag the ray species poster from aqualog for the room. Nice addition to the book for ray enthusiasts
This is the one I am referring to. It says it has all the p number register. I’m wondering is that poster in this book here? Lol. I’d like both tbh.
Drilled out a piece of black pvc to cover my heater. Now I am just waiting on a buyer for my bichir. I found a Petland close by that will take the pleco. Lol they promise me it would be sold to someone with a big enough tank.
Download the PDFs for the Elasmobranch Husbandry Manual I & II, yhey don't have too much info on fw rays, but it's still very useful as their data is taken from a bunch of aquariums and zoos, they also have some very nice info on medication, quarentine and prophylaxis, overall a recommended read (and it's free, just google it).
