Royal Pleco tank size?

Could I house a l027a in a 125 gallon? I keep reading that it is big enough but it seems small to me.

18” wide tank is good for along time bc they take a long time to grow, 24” wide tank is best down the road.

This guy is in a 24" wide tank, I think that is the bare minimum for this species, this one is 15-16" long, with wood in the tank and other plecos, always go as wide as you can and get a pleco that can fit comfortably.

Wow that is a monster, definitely gonna pass on this one. Sucks that 18 wide was the biggest I could go, the struggles of having to keep tanks on the second floor.

I'm yet to see an L27 bigger than 16¨, so I'd say you're fine. And they're not fast growers either.
