That sucks. We're going from 80F to 40F for tomorrow. It was nice while it lasted
Winter sucks. We are currently getting getting pounded. Visibility is so bad today. Earlier I took the truck to get the mail, my driveway is about 1/4mile long so no way was I walking it. I couldn’t see anything, literally nothing. I made it to the mailbox but on the way back I went into the ditch. I was in 4w so I just kept on the gas and made it out. I was worried I was going to bury it. The snow is at last 12”+ likely more from the blowing snow in the ditch.
I’m so over winter. I don’t even care about the low temps anymore. I just want the endless snow to stop!
I feel we’ve been spoiled the last 5yrs with fairly easy going winters. Only one or two big storms and that’s about it. Maybe a week that hits -20 windchill.
This year we’ve gotten a lot of snow, weeks of -10 and lower. Hit -64 windchill. It’s been a bad winter.
Current roads.
Schools closed 2hrs early today and are canceled tomorrow. At this rate public school kids will be doing school well into June.
I hope so too! Lol Gotta call the plow guy tm morning. Hopefully he’ll be free to come out.
It’s easy for me, I’m home all the time. But my poor husband has been out in this yuck all day
He wasn’t even able to be home because of it so I’m pretty op’d. A few jobs I worked before there were people that rode sleds to work this time of year. I was joking with my husband that we needed one now.

Not upset. I just find it strange. In some ways I am like people generations older than me. I find the idea that these things are ubiquitous odd, as I honestly never heard of Sailor Moon until A year ago. (Going to college and getting internet has been funny ) I signed up for MFK around when I got internet - that can give you an idea. Been a really weird winter here in SE Michigan this year. Had no snow at all and even 60f temps the week before Christmas. Then a few weeks ago got dumped on with snow and temps went down to -15 and windchills of -40. Now the past few days it's been 50f and all the snow is gone. Now tomorrow they are saying back into the 20's and 40mph winds. Just a roller coaster here lately.
