Could have just bought a known line bred strain fish by now if identification is so important to you.

I also got no backlash on my first flowerhorn ID thread. Your name suits you aquatic aggression. I've learned the flowerhorn community is toxic and full of people who do not care about the fish. Just the quality.
You got no backlash from me dude, all I said was the fish has no known strain or breed type because of how and where you bought it. Maybe I didnt type it out like your kindergarten teacher would have so you take it as a personal attack but thats on you. Nothing I typed was "aggressive" lol.
Flowerhorn strain names became another fetish object along with the fh specific foods and accessories. Its dumb when not legitimate. But when its all trying to be applied to a wholesale fish sold through a pet store that is accidently selling these things as jack Dempsey then its not just dumb its kind of sad.
Its a nice fish with some "kamfa" traits and red eyes. Cant call it a this or that. Breed it, then line breed into a strain. You get 25% identical phenotype you name that strain whatever the hell you want.

Why contradict yourself? If you say the flowerhorn community is toxic and full of people who only care about quality and not the fish then why did you ask for an ID in the first place. Most Flowerhorn names are full of crap. LFS will put any name on an identifiable flowerhorn just to sell it. If you do not know the lineage of the flowerhorn than there is no possible way to ID it. You don't have to be such a snowflake about it. Do you want me to call it a Grade AAA King Blue Dragon Mega Kok to make you feel better.

Toxic thread in here lol. We should be helping, not debating or arguing in this community. As per ID, looks like a zz, which comprise more of the rd, srd, kamalau strain. Hard to tell due to its size but give it a 2-3 months and keep updating us with the progress. Proper feeding and wc is the key plus enjoy ur new flowerhorn.
