I recall years ago being told that the stability of the NGT depended on whether they had clear or black fins but I can't for the life of me recall which way round it was.
Plus I never really had a problem with stability with the ones I had so I'm not sure that this holds true anyhow

Not true. Lol. Ugly bland ones can have all black fins or white. Vice versa for the nice bright ones too. Hehe
Here’s my NGT with the black cape with his Indo Buddy. Funny how he use to be the dominant one, but now it’s the Indo.

THE BLACK CAPE! lovin it K krichardson . Beautiful piece. It’s either fighting crime or causing it. Lol. Something different between the two. It’s not due to mood, lighting, or water param.
