NGT with black fins versus white

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Since we are on the topic of NGT. Lol. Here’s my old 2 that I had in 2012. Each had their own side. Hehe. Conspecific aggression took over after a few months, and became World War III.

I recall years ago being told that the stability of the NGT depended on whether they had clear or black fins but I can't for the life of me recall which way round it was.
Plus I never really had a problem with stability with the ones I had so I'm not sure that this holds true anyhow

Not true. Lol. Ugly bland ones can have all black fins or white. Vice versa for the nice bright ones too. Hehe

Here’s my NGT with the black cape with his Indo Buddy. Funny how he use to be the dominant one, but now it’s the Indo.

I've actually been tempted to buy back one that a fellow member has lol.
I've had a few campbelli over the years and I have never took note of any varying fin colors,to be honest. My areas of attention were the range of colors(I've had some that were almost orange)and getting them off of live foods. They are extremely stubborn in my experience.

THE BLACK CAPE! lovin it K krichardson . Beautiful piece. It’s either fighting crime or causing it. Lol. Something different between the two. It’s not due to mood, lighting, or water param. I suspect it’s permanent. Look through some wild dat photos I put in on the other threads. Some sport black cape too.
