This guy has a lot going on inside his head whoo dawgyPair of severums and a nice big pleco. Posse of clown loaches and an EBJD. Solitary amphilophus. Pack of geophagus and pike cichlids maybe...
I'm fully aware in the fact that I have done so and have a 125 but wondering what YOU would/are do with one.You could do a lot with a 125. Dozens of threads about it too. You could do:
A pair CA/SA cichlids of your choice (Oscar, Jack Dempsey, Green Terror, etc.)
Oddball tank (smaller bichirs, leopard ctenopoma)
African cichlid route with some peacocks
A general community tank (a bunch of livebearers, gournami, tetra, etc)
Unless you plan on getting a larger tank stay away from arowana, peacock bass, and the RTC
There’s a bunch of other options just do some research
100% thank you for reiteratingI think this is more of a what would you do thread. He's not asking what he can do, he's asking what you guys would do.
YES, goldfish are goofy and calming to watch.Big fancy goldfish, plant it, and a little bit of Buddhist theme decor. I'm all about some zen space.
Just a classic 6ft 125gWhat are the dimensions on a 125? That would help me decide which of my fish would get an upgrade.
Seriously, I'd move fish I already have from a smaller tank, into the bigger one (my largest tank by volume is a 4'x2'x2' 120g, longest tank is a 5' 100+g). It just makes sense to give everyone as much room as possible. When I get bigger tanks I like to upgrade my current residents not collect new fish when I could be doing better with the ones I already have.![]()
