Payara pond

I want to put a payara in my outdoor pond the stock is 1x flagtail 1x silver arowana 2x mahseer 1x indo dat would a payara be okay in a outdoor pond getting off of live food water temp heard they can be sensitive? Never kept a payara before anything can help

I suspect that it would not be easy for you to be able to see and observe the payara in a pond setting due to its rather flat body shape and most ponds being dim or dark ,unless you can view your pond from the side somehow.That said,cohabiting depends on how big the pond is.If it is wide enough the payara might ignore the others.

It is a very large pond my current stock I can see the whole fish sides top and sun shines directly into the pond

Keepers report payaras targeting silver fish more than other colored fish. Something to consider.

People feed them that. Some seem to think feeding marine fish to freshwater fish isn't good though.
