  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've never had to get around in it, the only time I've "seen" enough snow for it to cover the ground I was too young to remember.
Otherwise I've only seen it at a distance on top of Mt. Wellington. :)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! I hope they're okay, I know its really hard but try not to stress too much.

I done my first actual days work today! I done my training on Monday and Tuesday and my first actual shift this afternoon.
It was easier than I expected, sorta. Still gonna take a while to get it down 100% but I didn't break the computer so it could have been worse I guess. :D
Congrats on starting....

It's 28 outside with a wind chill of 15. I sure do miss the days before global warming...it was much warmer back then.

Good side...no snow.

The wife has an attitude because a mouse managed to gnaw a hole through the bottom of the kitchen trashcan. It is one of those sturdy plastic Rubbermaid jobs and she thinks a rat must be in the house as there is no way a mere mouse could have done that!

I can’t say I blame her. I’d be going nuts if a mouse was in the house.
Time for a cat.....

We've had cats, our last one got out and never looked back.I think I am simply going to double up on the sticky traps as I am not up to the added hassles that a cat would bring.I doubt that my dog would be very receptive to a cat at this point in his life.

Yeah. My dog hated whenever I brought cats in from outside. And I finally got sick of the litter mess so the cats are in the garage now. But I do like keeping them around. We had rats come close to the house a couple years ago and I freaked out. Since feeding the stray cats and keeping them around I haven’t seen any signs of rats. It’s been a big relief. I set so many traps outside for the rats and only caught one! They are so good at avoiding traps it’s scary.

Rats, my goodness.Time to grab a pellet gun!

If they would show their ugly little faces I would!
Years ago we would go down to the old docks on the waterfront and pick off yhe warf rats there with our pellet plinkers.

Am I the only one who thinks the new smiley thingys look derpy? I liked the old ones better, the little green cheeky looking guy was much more enjoyable than this guy: :D

Post script: for the love of all I hold sacred, please don't ask me to explain what derpy means... I'm too tired to explain it without getting someone's knickers in a knot. If you don't know it and want to know, google is your friend. ;)
