Jardini Tankmates

Like I said, can't really tell you if that will work or not, it's going to come down to luck, and the way you do things.I probably wouldn't do 2 texas, don't want a pair forming, and I would put some other smaller tough fish like maybe convict and salvini to act as targets for the large fish. You could try something like midas salvini convict texas. eMore "targets" may keep the larger fish from clashing too bad. But on the other hand your midas might not want to share the tank. I would grow them all from small, have lots of sight breaks in the tank, and have another tank on hand, or at least a divider, for when you need to shift fish around.

Hm that sounds like a good idea I might do 1 Midas and 2 Oscars or a Midas and a Texas Cichlid (I know that keeping Oscars with Midas is risky but it’s worth a shot) However I will add in convicts as they’re pretty tough to try and stop the fish from fighting too often. Also I was thinking about adding tiger barbs as they’re pretty fast so the big fish will struggle to get them

Thoughts on this?
