No more Tanked

People always complain about tanked and say it's trash etc etc. What you have to realize is a show that is more in depth on fish keeping, I.E about the species, water params, how tanks are built, where fish are collected, the real hardcore tech stuff us aquarists like, a show like that wouldn't last one season. A Tv show has to appeal to the masses to stay on the air, and it's just a fact that the masses aren't real fish keepers like we are so they tune in to see the "pretty fishies" and the goofy stuff they pull on the show. So while I agree that there was a lot of fluff to the show, It was at least a show about fish&tanks and not another Kardashian or bachlor dating crap show and it sucks that it's now gone.

I can imagine lol.I always thought it was rather weird to have two complete strangers stripped naked and marooned together in some jungle......and draws or drawers,always thought that that was a funny word for underwear.

I think they went way over board with the reality stuff. Natgeo, history and discovery channels used to be my favorite channels other than a few shows its all reality driven now

Im still trying to figure out the point of naked and afraid.

You could talk to a group of teenagers today about how you used to be able to learn stuff on those channels and they would all be amazed.

It really is amazing how they have ruined all the channels. I was floored a couple weeks ago when I looked at the weather channel. They had multiple shows on for hours in a row about towing cars. How is that something that should be on the weather channel?

Very true. My son once asked me why do they call the history channel.... the history channel.

Dude theres a show on discovery about drug dealing. They follow around dealers and document how they run the business. I think its called drugs inc or something

I've seen the Drugs Inc one, I think it comes on Viceland ch here though. I always wondered, why the cops don't follow the film crew around and arrest the dealers lol
