I cant be certain but it looks like he is attempting to initiate some breeding and the female may not be receptive. My JD would always retreat to the top corner of the tank when it was being bullied by one of the larger cichlids.

I did notice him doing the sexy dance for her!!! LOL!!! Should I just let them be?

Unless she is getting beat up bad then i would just let it be. Some males can be more abusive then others. Are you trying to get thrm to breed? If so then make sure your tank conditions are right. JDs like a cave like structure to spawn in like a flowerpot and i believe they like warmer temps to get in the mood.
 
I got her for company for him. If I take out the flower pot and make it cooler in the tank they won't breed? What temp. should the tank be? I have it at 83.

Well theres no guarantee of that. Like i said the higher temps (over 80) will make them more active and result in more breeding behavior though. The flowerpot should go if you dont want breeding. Any other rocks for that matter as well. Ime a good indicator that a pair has indeed "paired" is rock cleaning behavior.
 
R & A are getting divorced!! Domestic abuse!!! It must have happened last night. I put her in a hospital tank with some Melafix. He will have to stay single the rest of his life!!
