What cichlid is this?

Thats a good point. As far as the fish goes though its big so maybe but being of unclear origins it only has size value not potential breeding or rare fish value.
If you can sell it , honestly its worth whatever the buyer feels is fair for a nice big fish that looks like a" texas of some sort"

Fish looks like a texas to me but quite possibly a hybrid. Doesn't look like a putre cyanoguttatus or a pure carpintis, to me. I'd agree with duanes and twentyleagues, this fish isn't worth as much as a pure texas, which is already a common fish and not worth a ton, unless it was a pure fish from a well known source with a catch locale. This fish, I'd say is worth whatever someone would pay. personally, I'd pay maybe 20-40 dollars, if I wanted it.

My LFS would probably charge 80 for this guy haha so the prices you mentioned sound good. Thanks everyone.
