my rtc ate my sun cat but hey its nature survival of the fittest.. its a eat or be eaten world. I think if you knowingly put expensive fish in with rtc you know whats gonna happen eventually. I have nice fish in with mine but honestly if they get caught then it is what it is. i do my best to keep everyone fed and happy but hey if my rtc catches one ..oh well next meal

So anyway, how does the RTC's stomach work such that it never gets injured even when it swallows sharp things like the pincers of crabs?

Lmao. My 6" rtc ate my 3" peacock. I moved him out of that tank. He is now 10". I have him with my tsn and my gator gar now. They are both 20". He won't be eating any other fish besides my feeders that I breed and gut load to feed them. I do like the fact that the rtc likes to be petted.

they have a whole mess of teeth, and if you dont want any more murders in your pond take everything out but the rtc.

i hand feed my baby red tail my arowanas krill lol havent got nipped yet though
