Not the brightest tuna in the school...

Sadly the fish was euthanized. The Vietnamese man, traveling from Malaysia, faces 10 years' imprisonment and a fine of up to AUS$210,000.

On a related note Interpol is now investigating a possible Vietnam-Illinois connection in all of this, stay tuned.*

*Note: last sentence is fake news; the rest is not.

A vietnamese goes to Malaysia to buy an Indonesian red to bring to Australia.......

Is so ironic that they chose to put down an endangered fish..... if they really care that it is endangered..... it would be better if they take the effort to send the fish back

LMAO -- and it gets better -- rumour has it he was on his way to Illinois :)
He must have been offered alot of money to bring in the red.... but abit crazy that he was willing to take the risk of travelling to Australia than US.... might as well fly straight to Us

I was just kidding about the Illinois connection bro -- in reference to our Vietnam-Illinois buddy in that Arowana thread that got closed.

Why do people smuggle live animals into places? I’m sure there are more profitable things to smuggle into places that aren’t alive.

He would have gotten less for knocking over a convenient store. :nilly:
Some states even murder :screwy:. Put him in “high power” with El Chapo and other cartel leaders and throw away the keys! This BAD BAD man imported a legally farmed Asian arowana illegally!!
