Very pretty...almost looks iridescent. Will probably look completely different as an adult! How big is your O?
I remember reading an article about red O's being introduced in the 60s from wild specimens. They are a natural variant that still show a wide variety, from dull copper to bright orange. The chili red Os are selectively bred and have white heads with blazing red bodies.
This is my oscar pair trying to breed the male is the red and female albino red.

I like the red. I like oscars. I like oscar fish keepers. Oscars don't get enough recognition. Just a cheap big cichlid that people have been keeping for years.
