Also I hear Jardinis are killing machines so hard to keep with others once they get bigger. Never had a tank big enough to even try so I haven’t bothered yet.

Channa micropeltes get 3.5ft long on average and as fat as you thigh... Channa Diplogramma Gramma are 10x+ the cost and stay around 2ft.
They look very different to the trained eye, especially when adult like the pic above.
For reference I have kept many micro too, one of which grew from 4" to 14" in 3 months.
Considering I've had this guy 4 months and he has gone from 4" to 7" that should put it into perspective.
He went into the 300g last week and is finding his place in there now, doing pretty good. I will update when he is fully settled.
