Just curious if anyone has a good picture of a super thick lapradei to share. No matter how much I feed I can’t get the lap to fatten up like my endli.
Do lapradei bichir get as thick as Endli?

Sorry to tell you but your lap is WC and your endli is CB. WC specimen dont get thick until they are done growing in lenght, once they are done then they get thick.
I can’t wait until the lap get to that stage. I just did a google and there are not many pics of monster laps out there. I want to grow a big bichir like that.

Im like you waiting and waiting. I wonder how common it is to actually grow them to those beastly sizes or is it more common that the true beasts are mostly caught at those sizes.
I have wc endli and its way thicker than the wc pbb and are roughly the same length.
Generally from what I've noticed, congicus are the thickest, next is probably ansorgii/endli (about the same) then probably a PBB/PBL.
