Hikari Massivore for staple

Is anyone using massivore as their dovii’s staple? Is hikari cichlid gold sinking pellets a better staple?

I agree with you on that, my dovii’s like it and ingredient to me look better than cichlid gold.

IMO Massivore contains too much protein/fat for this species.

As shown in the link above, their diet in the wild mostly consists of insects, not a dry diet that is approx 50% crude protein, and approx. 10% crude fat.

i also like bio gold and use it, both dovii eat it but not as aggressively as massivore.

Thanks for the info RD. I have a ton of grasshoppers and other insects on my property, was thinking about throwing some in today actually!
