Just stick with it and you'd be surprised how much you can learn after some practice. Mine are still not great by any means because I've never taken any sort of classes or had any teaching at all, but if you do some reading online about the basics of painting there's a ton of info that you can get some really good tips from so give it a try. Trust me my first couple were really bad when I started lol. I think the best advice I can give you that I finally learned is that nothing is "un-fixable". That was my biggest problem when I started. I thought everything had to be just so. Truth is once you realize you can cover/fix almost anything then it free's you up to actually enjoy it and try some new things.
