Well nitrate are quite important to have in check since its because nitrate we change water. With established filtration you should never see ammonia or nitrite.

I'll try to find my nitrate test kit. I do have lots of pothos in my sump. but i think my nitrate is still quite high.

Pothos do work but not that much imo. Wc is a key to success. As i said earlier i change 1800L twice a week in my 2600L tank.

A drip system is optimal imo. Im setting up a system for 37 tanks at the moment.
