Question regarding coleus and pothos in aquarium ..

1) Will the extended roots bother the fishes ?

2) Do they release any chemicals in water so do I need to change water more often ?

3) Any other plants other than cokeus/pothos that will work ?

Is it required to wait for cuttings till they root in another water glass and then put it on the aquarium or is it ok to put it directly?

I rinse the roots of dirt, and place into the aquarium.

Can I put coleus/pothos cuttings in aquarium before the roots have even developed ?
Btw do you cut your roots ?

I prefer to put cuttings in the tank, as opposed to soil rooted plants, in that way the plant has grown into the environment it will live in. I don't think its necessary, but has always worked for me, as long as their is enough ambient light.
