Pretty much just wondering if 2 pairs of GBR would be fine in a divided 20 long.

If you're breeding them,i would say you're fine. I've seen people breed them in much smaller aquariums. Plants, large stones or slate would be ideal also. Bare bottom or small substrate is you're choice.

Blue rams have taken over half of a 90/75 gallon tank when breeding, a 20 long won't leave much escape room of the other pair if one pair starts breeding.

Personally, no. I had two pairs in a 40 breeder and they were trying to murder each other, so now it’s one pair per tank.

20 long is about the smallest I’d go for a single pair, especially if they parent-raise.
