Well after years of dreaming, It finally comes to reality




Spent three hours with him/her today. Three to four weeks it can come home.

That's a beauty and should feather out nicely.

I've attempted this, but my Mrs doesn't want birds or bunnies.
So I annoy her with my fish, and she has cats and dogs.

BUT, when we go to the county fair, what's the thing she wants to see the most?
The Fur & Feathers exhibits.

I miss having a bird, but my wife wont allow it after dealing with my mothers moluccan cockatoo
That beast is loud lol
She said no birds and no snakes or spiders... so i got rats instead lol

Yes, it's a Sun conure. I named him/her Phoenix

Its gorgeous. Ive always wanted a conure. Theyre so personable

Phoenix is 10 weeks old, still eating formula from a dropper 3x a day. This last week has been eating some normal food. His/her wings are clipped atm but going forward I won't be clipping them. Ultimately my goal is to be able take him/her out free flighting.

Cage is all set waiting for Phoenix to come home.
I have this suspicion that he won't be spending a lot of time actually in there..... lol
