Shopping the 8’-10’ variety. Who’s got the best prices?

Thanks!

In addition to price you'll want to consider material and how you'll want the tank built.

I've been looking at Midwest. Customs. Considering a few others but have not. Compared pricing yet.

It depends how flexible you are and what you want. If you want acrylic, i think fishtanksdirect has the best prices on large tanks and are a pretty well regarded company.

If you want glass, i think glasscages has the best prices. The thing is, you have to go meet them somewhere to pick up the tank (which may not be close to you) or else pay pretty dearly for shipping to your door.

If i was ordering a big tank, i would try out customaquariums.com. ive heard a lot if good things about them. Im leaning towards glass over acrylic these days as well.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order from "american aquariums". I had a really bad experience with them that was rife with incompetence and poor customer service.

I priced some stands and aquariums from custom aquariums dot-com, and I thought the prices were okay considering the quality but I could not afford the shipping to California.

On the glass tank I wanted 5/12 of the price was shipping!

If you do glass id go Customaquariums. If acrylic I'd flip a coin Midwest custom or fish tank direct

I believe they have free shipping any tanks over $3k. The tank the op mentioned would most likely be around that at least.

The Truvu stuff seems pretty nice and fairly priced. Their biggest tank is 96x30x24 300 gallon.

Their salesman never mentioned that to me.
They quoted me a stand at ~$3000 and no mention.

BTW, if I lived 1000 miles closer the shipping would have been peanuts. Over the Rockies, the shipping cost goes way up.
(I bought from a Calif company through the LFS and no shipping.)
