I've heard the patterns between the eyes and gills means it's a male but these are the first severums I've ever had.
Anyone good at sexing Green Severums?

Top one looks female, bottom one male. What you said is generally true, males of many Heros types have the scribbled lines on the cheek and face, females tend to lack them or have less of them. In some types males have also spotting on their sides, which females either lack or have less of. Nice looking pair!
