Hi, I have a new tank being built. 7ftx3ftx3ft with a sump filtration. It is gonna be a bare bottom tank and stock will be freshwater rays, some cichla, an asian arowana, and some myleus. I am planning to put the overflow on just one side of the tank with a bean animal drain design with 1 1/2 inch pipes. Will a double walled overflow weir with the front wall having top and bottom teeth work well? or should I just stick to a standard overflow with top teeth?

Welcome aboard

I would have a weir for each corner.
